We’ve been using the Artiq for months now, and it has quickly become our go-to 510 battery. We should have written this review sooner.

The kit is simple and attractive — a compact box with all the needed adapters included. The unit itself is smaller than expected, easily pocket-sized, yet still designed to cool vapor (something that usually requires larger devices or bubblers). The build feels solid and well-made.

Getting started was straightforward. As with most 510s, we charged via USB-C, attached the adapter, and connected our cart. Once seated properly, the device worked smoothly, delivering plenty of vapor.

The main point to the Artiq is to have cooler vapor vs a standard 510 battery. We are happy to report that they did a good job. For a small portable 510, the vapor is cooler and smoother vs standard 510s. The Artiq has remained one of our main batteries and we have gone through full carts from top to bottom.

Like all adapter-based 510s, the cart connection can shift. A quick shake or keeping the unit upright usually fixes it. Inhaling at a slight angle with gravity’s help also improves consistency.

Pros:
Easy to Use
Good vapor
Vapor is cooler vs standard 510
Adapter works good overall
Adjustable temp / voltage
Attractive looking battery

Cons:
Costs more than most 510s

Conclusion:
Overall, the Artiq stands out as one of the best 510 batteries we’ve tested. It combines portability with smoother, cooler vapor — something most 510s struggle with. While it’s priced higher than many basic options, the performance and cooling factor make it worth considering if you want a better experience with your carts.
