We haven't done a review in a while, but this unit was controversial enough that we decided to do one.
We've been using the Zeus Ion Pro for a few weeks now and we're happy to report that it's a very good 510.
The battery life is super impressive. You don't even have to turn it off because the sleep mode works great. It's one of the longest-lasting batteries we've experienced.
The vapor production is more our style. Smooth and not harsh. Despite being at a medium setting or even a bit higher, a cough or unhappy throat is a rare event. Whatever they're doing to control the vapor harshness, it works.
The adapter is a huge improvement over the first Ion. We've experienced no connection issues.
We really like the display, it looks very good. The lighting when you're vaporizing is extra nice, I almost want to keep looking at it while I'm inhaling.
The airflow control is big and simple, with a sizable gap that's easily blocked by a finger.
The Zeus Ion Pro is one of the better adapter-based 510s we've used.
We actually got our unit from a customer who liked the Ion Pro but couldn't handle what he spent on it. He sent us a long email about how well it worked, but that it didn't perform better than more value-oriented units. He didn't know where the extra money went.
When we received it back, it had 800 puffs on it.
With that much use, why would a client return it for credit?
The answer is pretty simple: the Ion Pro is a jewelry-type 510. You're paying a premium for the design, display, lighting and the experience of owning a more luxurious device. That's uncommon in the vapor industry and a surprise for some clients.
If you're on a budget or simply aren't the type of person who likes spending extra for aesthetics, the Ion Pro probably isn't for you. If you're expecting the higher price to translate directly into dramatically better vapor, you may be disappointed.
If you're the type of person who likes jewelry, will spend extra for an attractive watch or a nice necklace, you will likely appreciate the aesthetic value of the Zeus Ion Pro. You're getting a good 510 that produces good vapor and has a great battery.

We think that comes down to the purchaser and their priority list.
If you want an attractive jewelry-style 510 with good vapor, you'll be happy with your Ion Pro.
If vapor performance for price paid is your top priority, there are better 510 deals to choose from.
There are limitations to what can be done with cartridge-based batteries and vaporizers. For a jewelry-style 510 with an adapter and a price premium, we do think the Ion Pro delivers.
