The events that have transpired in our world these over the last few years have been beyond what we imagined life would be. Yet here we are, getting through all the things. We love our country, we love the Canadian people, there are so many wonderful things that make our country great. AND we have so much healing to do as a nation. It's time for Canadians to show each other what we're made of. We are knows across the world for saying sorry a lot. Lets say sorry to the Canadians that have been hurt by other Canadians in the past. Lets show our empathy, our understanding and our resilience. Lets learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and build a Canada we can be even more proud of. In the world of countries, Canada is still young, we've made mistakes and we can learn and grow from them. It's up to us, the Canadians of today to build and grow that Canada. Lets listen to why our brothers and sisters are hurting, lets give them the stage to express the anger they carry from generations before them and lets open our hearts to understanding, to reconciliation, to acknowledging the hurts they have endured. Lets move forward a stronger and more united Canada. We can't change the past, but we can certainly create a future where Canadians stand together as Canadians; strong and resilient. Our hearts go out to those who are suffering. May your wounds heal and may you find peace in your heart.
