The stainless steel wire pad functions like the vegetable fibres of plant material. it provides the needed surface so that the flavour and active ingredients can be vaporized efficiently.
The liquid pad can absorb up to 10 drops at one time but it is recommended to start with the least amount of liquid until the optimal flavor is achieved. the liquid pads can also be used in the filling chamber for plant material but it is necessary to have either a liquid disc on the top or a clean filling chamber insert in place so that the valve will be engaged.
